Meine Damen, Meine Herren, Gentlemen of the Battery, and prospective recruits, as Leutnant of the Kriegsmarine Küstenabteilung, it is with great pleasure the unit welcomes you to our homepage.
We strive hard to accuriately portray the men and woman of the German Marine-Artillerie-Abteilungen units of World War Two, and to this day, I think we are unique in portraying this branch of service. The burden is heavy for those who wish to join our ranks, as it takes dedication to learn and progress. Everyone starts at the bottom, so promotions and awards are earned through dedication to the unit, attendance, and improvement of ones knowledge. I urge everyone who is considering becoming a member to read the handbook carefully, as this forms the basis for your impression.
In return for this dedication you can expect the support of me and the other members of the unit, the prospects of attending events with a well respected unit in some of the most amazing locations, the chance to use and handle some very rare and expensive equipment, and to enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded individuals.
I look forward to welcoming you as a member of the unit.
Respectfully,
