In order to be able to attend the maximum number of events the unit history is, by necessity, kept to a very generic one. Unit soldbuchs are generally completed to late 1944, and MAA units were present and fought in virtually all theatres including Norway 1940, 1941 Greece and Crete, 1943-1945 South Russia/Black Sea/Crimea, 1943-1945 Italian campaign, 1942 to 1943 Tunisia, North Africa, September 1944 Holland/Market Garden (Marine Flak), 1944 South of France, , East North Baltic/Russia from 1941 to 1945, June 1944 D-Day/Normandy & Falaise Pocket, 1944 Hurtgen Forest, 1944 & 1945 Battle of the Bulge and the final battle: 1945 Defence of Germany.

During the earlier campaigns we will generally portray Marine Artillerie Abteilung units displaced from their original heavy weaponary and turned into Marine Infantry Units, as well as forward observers and general Kampfgruppen units made up of scratch personel from whomever was on hand, regardless of training or background, as was typical for the time.
